May round-up
So that was May! The sun may have been in short supply in the sky but there were plenty of beaming faces in the workshop.
Summarising the month is always tricky as every day is different. That's what happens when you make made to measure and bespoke furniture. Even the lighting keeps the finishers on their toes as the recycled brass content varies slightly batch to batch. Our team are experts in adapting to the moving parts, and in monthly 1-2-1s, people often mention variety as one of the best things about working here.
The piece of the month appears to have been the pyramid table. This begs the question—what is the collective noun for a group of pyramid tables? A Toblerone? A Giza? A peak?
Now it's time to focus on June, and we have a busy few weeks ahead. If all goes to plan, we're hoping to reduce our lead times this month... Watch this space.
