Explosive scenes

Matthew lends an antique perspective at the Decorative Collective shoot on the south coast.

The dramatically-named Explosion Museum of Naval Firepower in Hampshire was the backdrop for a spectacular recent shoot for online antiques portal, the Decorative Collective.

The ever-energetic Jane Walton led the crack team into the vaults to shoot a series of stills featuring a handpicked selection of stock from the DC’s coterie of dealers.

Interior designer Emma Hooton styled the sets and photographer Martin Gardner did a tremendous job of lighting and shooting the impressive, cavernous space.

Matthew spent a lot of time up a ladder trying to find a way to suspend weighty pendant lighting from 18th century brickwork. But as you can see, succeed he did!
